Server distributable is near

Alpha server (for Win2000/Xp/Vista - no 7) will be available for download starting from July. DM & TDM, tweaked bots, improved weapons, several small test-levels and various fixes included.

Simple DM/TDM bots added and tested !

Bots were succesfully integretd into VoH. Alpha testers will be able to try them out during next testing session.

Please make sure that email which is linked to your account on VoH boards is up to date. Some users might get suspended with reactivation link sent to their mailbox (sometime in November). Including Alpha testers !

We are expecriencing some technical problems with our forum software. We will try to resolve them soon.

Alpha 0.4.6

Tests of 0.4.6a are planned to be carried out in February 2009. We will be trying out:

• Physics improvements;
• Updated inventory management;
• Various weapon tweaks;
• New levels;
• Distributable Arena Server;

Tests of 0.4a will be held in the middle of October.

Also while doing upgrades to our server software We made a decision to provide downloadable version of DM/TDM (Arena type) server in the future. To play on Arena server players still will have to authenticate through Master server. Arena server will be available for download next year.

Physics engine - PhysX

PhysX has been chosen as physics engine for VoH. Work on integration is in progress.

New testing session will be announced right after physics integration is complete.

DM-Core

Here are some pictures of upcoming DM-Core. HUD can be seen too.

Currently we are working on some minor improvements to DM-Core, new weapon models, 2 new levels and physics.
